This symbol is hidden away in the Pastor’s Sacristy; the small room on the pulpit side where the Pastor’s prepare for the service. The most important the Pastor uses is represented by the Sword. Paul writes in Ephesians 6:17, “In all circumstance take up… the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” The only offensive weapon the Christian has with which to fight the forces of evil and deception is God’s Word written for us in the Bible.
