The East Side Clerestory Windows


The clerestory windows on the east side of the sanctuary above the crucifixion show symbols of the passion. The first is the “cup of suffering”. Jesus said, “Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt.” Matthew 26:39. The sacrifice that has overcome sin and death is was the cup of suffering Jesus drank for us..
