The Chancel Windows
On either side of the altar
are long lancet windows which throw light into the Sanctuary and onto the
altar. These windows do not glare into
the eyes of the worshippers but can be viewed as they approach the altar to
receive the Lord’s Supper. To the left
of the altar is a life size figure of Christ the Good Shepherd holding a lamb
in his arms. Jesus tells us, “I am the Good Shepherd; the good shepherd lays
down his life for the sheep. John 10:11 Since Christ and His work for all
mankind is the focus of the church’s life these windows bring a great comfort
to us.
